Xenia Dvoriantchikova
I fell in love with yoga as a teenager seeking guidance and community over 16 years ago, and it has been a source of joy, mental steadiness, and transformative magic in my life ever since.
I completed my 200-hour certificate at Kripalu Center for Yoga & Health in 2018. I enjoy drawing from a variety of approaches including Anusara, heated Vinyasa, Ashtanga and Katonah styles, and from continuing education with my favorite teachers today. My teaching style is focused on alignment and challenging our bodies and spirits in a way that is accessible – to get anywhere, we first need to meet ourselves where we are. I believe that different things work for different people, at different times, and there is so much to be gained by listening to our body’s innate wisdom at any given moment.
I come to the mat again and again because I find that you can always learn more about the most seemingly simple pose. I adore being a forever student, and continue to deepen my practice with breathwork, meditation, kirtan, and the stories and mythologies that inform an imaginative and empowering approach. I truly believe that yoga allows us to move through the world well, physically and mentally, and that practice on the mat is just the beginning. Beyond yoga, I have a background in Cultural Anthropology and Labor Relations.I am passionate about seeing the world and learning from different cultural perspectives.
